Day 1 Kochi

Get acquainted with the sights, sounds and tastes of India in this sprawling portside city.

Days 2-3 Munnar

Escape the sticky heat of the coastline and head to the beautiful hill station of Munnar. Embark on a short trek through the spectacular scenery, and visit local villages that are nestled between lakes, reservoirs, forests and tea estates.

Days 4-8 Kerala Trek

Stride out on a 4-day trek into the heart of Kerala, one of India’s most beautiful and colourful regions. Weave through coffee, cotton, coconut and mango plantations, stand in the shade of red Rhododendrons, clamber over dramatic ridges and climb some of India’s tallest peaks for unrivalled views over the countryside. Along the way, drop in on remote hillstations for a rest, meet local villagers and cool off in pristine waterfalls.

Days 9-11 Thekkady/Periyar National Park

Take an awe-inspiring drive through the Western Ghats en route to the quaint village of Tekkady. After an optional spice tour, head into Periyar National Park, where a short trek provides a great opportunity to spot elephants, otters, wild pig and buffalo.

Day 12 Kerala Backwaters Houseboat

Kick back and relax on a boat ride through the Kerala backwaters, a region that is renowned for its laid back vibes and incredible cuisine.

Day 13 Trikunnupazha

Cruise along the coastline to Trikunnupazha and relax in a riverside resort. In the afternoon, head out to some villages to learn more about traditional Indian life.

Days 14-15 Kochi

Return to Kochi and enjoy a guided tour that encompasses all the highlights, including the impressive Fort Cochin and Mattancherry Palace.
